They say “all work and no play make a dull life”. While we are working towards our goals, don’t forget the ones you love and have stood by you throughout the thick and thin. Take time to spend and enjoy your family but most important take time for yourself. Take time for walks in the park, a hot bubble bath, get the kids (and sometimes the husband) out the house to allow time for you to think and re-group. This will help you to be productive person whether at home, work, or school.

Gosh Hope, I really needed to hear this! Working 40 hours a week, attending school part-time and being a support for my husband and son, has really taken a toll on me lately. I need to spend a little more time loving my family as well as loving myself. I asked a friend what she does to relax, and her response was alone time. This time away from her husband and children, gives her the peace of mind she needs to focus on what is most important. Family is indeed what it is all about, for they have supported us through it all. I have been inspired to go home this evening and hug and thank my family for their love and support through it all! I also think this weekend I will plan a "Kim" day :o)
