A Time of Reflection

As the semester is coming to an end, take the time to reflect on the new skills and knowledge you have gained.

  1. I have been reflecting all week. Just got my confirmation e-mail that I can graduate with honors, and I am so excited!

  2. Because of work and family, I can only take two classes each semester. I get the same motivated feeling at the start of each semester. I am going to stay ahead in each class and get my work done well before the due date, but that motivating feeling always goes away by the half-way mark. I start getting behind and wait till the last minute to get my work done. I soon start counting down the days of when the semester ends. Then, I get that motivated feeling at the start of the next semester, but it soon goes away too. This class has been fun and educational. We have actually done some creative assignments, not just writing papers about boring topics. The blogs are fun, and we have used some interesting applications. I will miss this class. As for some of my other classes, well, a few have not been fun.

  3. I am thankful to see this semester coming to a close. After my summer internship, I will graduate in December. I began this journey years and years ago and life's twists tried to knock it off course completely. It is because of God's favor on my life that I'm able to complete my degree. I completely identify with George with the up and down attitude to stay motivated but I must say that this class does indeed take away that unmotivated feeling. It's hard to get started at times but once you start on a project in BITE 5200 you get challenged in a good way that seems to override the blahs that some courses seem to induce. I enjoyed this class and I am glad to have a better understanding of design as I am certain to need it with the business ventures that I have stored up in my mind for later. I'm hoping and believing for the best and I hope the best for you as well. Take care.
